2005

2005 the first „Rock for one World” festival took place.
Despite a short preparation time Ralf Schulz succeeded recruiting some well known bands with the help of some friends and fellow musicians.
Primal Fear were headlining the festival.
Another highlight was the reunion of metal band Tyran‘ Pace with Primal Fear vocalist Ralf Scheepers. They generated some buzz in the eighties and performed at the legendary Metal Hammer Festival 1985 sharing the stage with Metallica and Venom.
Line up: Primal Fear, Tyran‘ Pace, Shiva (Mat Sinner, Armin Sabol), Bastards, My Darkest Hate, Runamonk, Who Knows and Kaminari.

The complete income adding up to 5300,00 € was donated to terre des hommes for rebuilding traditional fishers villages at the Adama coast, Thailand. The financial success and the positive feedback of musicians and fans caused the decision to repeat the festival.
