2017

In 2017, the ROW added another successful chapter to its 12-year history. "SOLD OUT" was the announcement three days before the ROW on March 4, 2017, as all advance tickets were gone, and the donation fund was brimming. Our four bands, as well as the audience, were in top spirits.

Opening band Nighttrain from Wernau kicked things off by taking everyone on a high-energy ride in their Full-Metal-Rock express, and Bavarian metal sensation Hammerschmitt from Munich set the KOMMA venue on fire afterward. The New Roses from Wiesbaden, known as Germany's rock sensation, gave our ROW metalheads a show to remember. Headliners SINNER with special guests Ralf Scheepers from Primal Fear and Frank Beck from GammaRay rocked the 12th ROW event to an electrifying grand finale, with a crowd that knew every word.

“This was one awesome party; rocking for a good cause is so much fun,” wrote The New Roses on their homepage, and everyone who held a ticket could consider themselves lucky.

The record donation of €12,465.04 will be distributed among five social organizations and projects in Esslingen and Kirchheim!
